Training Week 10 MCRD Parris Island Training Matrix
Recruits face the final challenges they must overcome to earn the title of Marine. The week begins with a physical fitness test and a written exam before the final drill evaluation. The recruits then face the Crucible, a final 54-hour field event that tests the recruits on the knowledge, skills and values they have been taught throughout training. Those who complete the final challenge are awarded their Eagle, Globe and Anchors, symbolizing their transformation from recruits to Marines.

WEEK TEN
- Final Exam/ Prac App: Recruits take their final written exams and their practical application exams.
- Final PFT: Recruits take part in their final physical fitness test.
- H/CUT - 8 (L/F): 8th haircut- lead and follow series
- Final Testing Retest: Recruits who failed the written and prac app exams attempt the tests again.
- Emblem Ceremony: Recruits become Marines at the end of the Crucible and receive their Eagle, Globe, and Anchors.
- Warrior Breakfast: Marines take part in a big breakfast where they are served a variety of foods.
- Base Liberty 1: Marines are given a period of liberty on base.

- Monday, T54: H/Cuts 8, Written Exam III, Platoon Photo, MCX-3, Crucible Prep Order
- Tuesday, T55: Final PFT, COD, Crucible Prep PCC/PCIs, Written Test III Retest
- Wednesday, T56: Final Drill, Crucible Refresh, Written Test III Retest
- Thursday, T57: Crucible
- Friday, T58: Crucible
- Saturday, M1: 15K Hike, Emblem Ceremony, Warriors Breakfast, Promotion Ceremony
- Sunday, S10: Religious Services, EMLS Survey, Base Liberty, Lost Honor Video
