Assembling Packets for Marine Corps Recruiters
Ammie Hennigan has been a long-time volunteer with Marine Parents. In addition to spending time moderating our Facebook groups, she volunteers to assemble packets of Marine Parent brochures and the Recruit Training Matrix. She ships thousands of packets yearly to Recruiting Stations throughout the United States.
This month, she recruited the help of teen volunteers from Sacred Heart Catholic School in Muenster, Texas, to assemble literature, stuff packets, and have them ready to ship. They inserted training matrices into 5,000 Spanish brochures, counted out sets and put them envelopes ready to be shipped to recruiters.
Ammie was thrilled with their enthusiasm to help and said "I could not be more proud of these young men and ladies for their volunteerism."
Marine Parents received volunteer help from over 100 volunteers throughout the year, and we appreciate each and every moment. A special thank you goes out to the students of Sacred Heart!
