MPTA Helps Marine Mom, Cheryl, Attend Graduation

On Friday, May 30, 2025, Marine Parents Travel Assistance sent Cheryl, Mother of a recruit, to San Diego for the recruit's graduation from Kilo Company to become a Marine.
Our family could not have been more blessed to have been able to attend our son's graduation on May 30, 2025, from Kilo Co. Plt. 3223. With the assistance of MPTA, I was able to coordinate our travel from Lafayette, Indiana, to San Diego, and my Marine's twin brother joined me for Family Day and Graduation. To see my son become a U.S. Marine was the proudest moment of my life. My twins were miracle babies, and no one could have imagined when they were born in 2005 that our "firstborn" twin would remain as strong and determined as he was at birth. The support of MPTA was tremendous, making a trip of a lifetime possible! My Marine proudly joins his grandfather, WW-11, and great-grandfather, WW-1, in serving our nation. Cheryl, New Marine Mom
